MY THOUGHTS
This is one of the best books I have found to read in a long time! Published in 2017, Juliette Cross creates fascinating characters with interesting back stories that fit seamlessly into life in modern New Orleans. It’s the 4th book in the Stay a Spell series where the Savoie sisters, all witches with unique talents, are very involved with the magical community.
If you love the enemies to lovers trope in the paranormal romance genre, then this series is for you. It could have been my personal familiarity with the city itself, but that was what made this all the better. The author either lived there, lives there, or visited often. Her detailed descriptions were spot on and had meso engrossed in the read that I lost track of time. I enjoyed this read immensely!
