'I Love to Write Day': November 15th

charlenewkelly

History of the day

Created by author John Riddle in 2002, November 15th was chosen to be called 'I Love to Write Day'. He believed that there should be a day for everyone to set aside time to just sit down and write.

Writing is one of the most creative way of expressing ourselves, along with many of the other arts like painting, acting, dancing, etc. But, no matter whether you write fiction or non-fictional books, novels, short stories, poems, plays, essays, articles, songs, or scripts, if you write for a blog, an employer, publisher, newspaper, scientific journals...or even for yourself, this day is for you.

A writer is someone who sits down and adds words to paper or typed to a document. However you get the words from your thoughts out into the world...you are a writer.

To all writers, enjoy your day and write something fabulous!
